Gantries and Monorails

REEL COH is specialized in the design, engineering, manufacturing, installation and start-up of lifting equipment for hydropower projects such as Gantries and Monorails for Spillway and Intake Gate Maintenance, Stop Logs.

Gantries and Monorails for Maintenance Stop Logs are used for the handling of stop logs serving for protection against water flow upstream of  spillway and intake gates for inspection and maintenance. They can also be used for the same purpose at the draft tube.

Stop log gantries or monorails are provided with a lifting beam and service a whole series of sluices. The lifting beam allows the picking and releasing of the stop logs when submerged in water. The opening and releasing of the hooks provided on the stop log lifting beam can be manually operated or motorized.
